The term BIM (which stands for Building Information Modeling) has become synonymous with software and technology and gives the impression that it is only about the 3D models. For our Group, BIM offers much more than this. We rely on the Collaboration of stake holders and more importantly the Information to produce a fully integrated, intelligent model regardless of software used. The process starts at the conception of an idea and utilizes the information compiled by all team members including the Owner, Contractor, Engineer, and Architect. A three-dimensional, dynamic building information model (also abbreviated as BIM) is created to continually track, analyze, and refine the project during its design phase. After construction completion, the model can be handed over to the facility management team who can then use the model for continued tracking of the project, making adjustments for renovations/ expansions as the building ages, and monitoring systems for optimal efficiency.

Our approach is based on and built around OPEN BIM Standards derived from national standards that will ensure the information that is integrated is not only suitable for design and construction but for the lifecycle of the project.

Our Group, in conjunction with BIM Inc., can provide a wide variety of services related to the built environment. Below are our current list of services:

CM-BIM: The AGC Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) is an assessment-based certificate credential that denotes knowledge and understanding of concepts related to BIM adoption, practice, and process transformation outlined in the AGC BIM Education Program. Successful candidates will carry the CM-BIM designation. In conjunction with the AGC, Bradley Madison CDT, CM-BIM is an approved instructor of this BIM Education Program. – See more at:
